i am doug mcelway. >> i am alison starling. it is friday. we are ready for the weekend. let's begin with traffic and weather every ten minutes. >> muscoda adam caskey first. it was delightful yesterday evening with the wind blowing. >> you get used to the humidity after a while. the good news is the timing is not perfect, but we need rain. there's good news in the rain department. tomorrow looks like a pretty active day. there's a cold front that will continue pushing to the east. there's an offshore low pressure system that it will join forces with. we will have showers may in the late tonight throughout the day tomorrow, off and on rain saturday. 92 degrees today, partly cloudy, for a few isolated thunderstorms this afternoon.

off and on showers tomorrow. sunday we will clear up with a lot of sunshine, near 90. tomorrow there will be clouds and showers keeping us a little cooler, 83 degrees. we could see about an inch of rain. on moving overnight construction of the beltway. at branch avenue of up to pennsylvania avenue, that should be gone by the time you get there. at kenilworth ave., the construction is being hauled off the roadway. beautiful in bethesda. no issues on 95, 395, 66 and a good run to the wilson bridge. alison and doug. >> thank you. d.c. police are investigating a double shooting in southeast. one victim was shot in the 3500 block of 19th street and the second shot in the 3400 block of stanton road. both were transported to the hospital and one of them in grave condition.

no motive is known. we are turning to a major cold war style trade. 10 spies are going back to moscow in exchange for four people accused of betraying russia. we are learning more about what went on behind the scenes with all of this. courtney robinson is live in a satellite center. good morning. >> at this moment those 10 un- registered foreign agents are on the way back to russia in return for four military intelligence officers held in russia for spying for the cia will be sent west. administration officials will not comment on where that will occur. some of the individuals are in poor health. the town never collected sensitive information, but this case sends a message to the world that those of spying on america will be caught. all 10, including the three arrested in arlington pleaded

guilty in a manhattan federal court for conspiring to act as un-registered agents for the russian federation. they have already served 11 days. their children will also be sent back to russia. vicky pelaez is an american citizen. the russian government promised to give her a children $2,000 a month, free housing and visas. a nuclear researcher named igor sutyagin will never be able to prove his innocence and? he was not spying for the cia. the other major deal making headlines is lebron james moving to miami. the free agent made the announcement.
